Liverpool have agreed a fee to sign long term transfer target, Naby Keita according to reports.
The Guinean international has been on Liverpool’s radar for a number of months, and have had several bids rejected by German side RB Leipzig.
Last seasons Bundesliga surprise package refused outright to do a deal for their star midfielder, but have now agreed to the midfielders sale.
The 22-year-old has a £48m release clause in his contract, but that can not be triggered until next summer. However Liverpool have now agreed a deal that will see them activate that release clause next summer, as well as a premium to ensure exclusivity on the deal.
Barcelona were believed to be interested, but were advised that the player is already in England to complete a medical and finalise a deal.
He will officially join Liverpool on 1st July 2018.
