Liverpool have been told that they must pay a whopping £70million if they are to sign their top transfer target Naby Keita.

The RB Leipzig midfielder is the top target for Jurgen Klopp this summer who has already secured the signature of Mohammed Salah. The Guinean enjoyed a fantastic debut campaign at the Bundesliga club but is apparently keen on a move to the Premier League.

The 22-year-old only moved to Leipzig for £12m last summer from RB Salzburg, but helped the club to a second placed finish in the German top flight, and in turn, securing Champions League qualification for the first time in the club’s history.

Liverpool are believed to be willing to pay £50m for the midfielder, but have been told to stump up at least £70m to secure his signature.

He is an energetic, dynamic, box-to-box midfielder in the similar mould to the likes of N’Golo Kante and Idrissa Gueye, making 31 Bundesliga appearances, scoring eight goals for the club last season.

Liverpool fans, is Keita worth £70m? Should you pay it? Who else do you need to add to your squad this season? Leave us your thoughts in the box below.
