Liverpool transfer target Allison Becker is not for sale according to his club, Roma.
The Reds have been targeting the Brazilian goalkeeper as they finally look to have a quality number one between the sticks, with both Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius having failed to nail down their position for a term period.
However, Roma President James Pallota claims that unlike Mohamed Salah who made the move from the Italian capital to Liverpool last summer, Becker will not be leaving the club this summer:
“I don’t like it when they say that Roma is like a garage sale,” said Pallota.
“Pjanic had a release clause and Salah told us that he wanted to leave and didn’t have much time left on his contract, so we had no choice.
“We’ve now made sure that Allison won’t leave, I’m extremely happy that he’s with us.”
Real Madrid have also been linked with the ‘keeper, having seemingly given up hope of signing David de Gea, while Thibaut Courtois wants to remain at Chelsea.
