Just weeks after the Phillipe Coutinho saga, Liverpool could have ankther fight on their hands as Europes heavy weights circle around Sadio Mane.
According to a report in The Sunday Mirror, Barcelona have switched their attentions from Coutinho to the highly influential Sadio Mane.
But they will have competition for the forwards signature, as their great La Liga rivals Real Madrid, as well Serie A champions Juventus.
Mane’s influence on the Liverpool side is noticeable as Liverpool’s win percentage without the striker drops from 71% to just 33%.
The Senegalese forward only made the well trodden move from Southampton to Liverpool last summer in a deal worth £35m.
Mane is currently serving a three game suspension following his controversial red card against Manchester City last week. In his absence, Liverpool once again failed to breakdown a resilient Burnley side.
He scored 13 goals in 27 appearances for the Reds in what was an injury curtailed first season. He has already started this season in fine form, scoring three in his five games.
