Liverpool sensation Mohamed Salah is set to reject the overtures if some of Europe’s biggest clubs and commit his future to the club.
The Egyptian only moved to Anfield less than 12 months ago, but his sensational form for the Reds have seen him linked with the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi reportedly happy for their clubs to move for the winger.
Salah, who joined Liverpool for the relatively modest sum of £35 million from Roma last summer, has set the Premier League on fire, scoring 28 goals so far in his 30 league appearances, which has seen his transfer value shoot up to around £200 million, according to some reports.
However, according to the Sunday Mirror, Salah is set to reject the opportunity to play for one of the worlds biggest clubs by signing a number new contract worth around £200,000-a-week.
The 25-year-old is known to be happy in the Premier League and has recently said: “I like the Premier League. It suits my style and I love playing here.”
The news will be music to Liverpool’s fans ears who recently had to watch Philippe Coutinho depart the club for a whopping £142m, but with Salah more important and deadly than the Brazilian ever was, it is a big boost to the Reds Premier League and Champions League aspirations going forward into the new season.
