Liverpool reveal 2018/19 home kit

Its that time of year when thoughts start to turn to next season, whether it be what league they will be in, whether they will be in Europe or not, and sometimes, for us fans, what our heroes will be wearing.

Liverpool are often one of first to unveil the latest incarnation of their famous red jersey, and children (and some adults) on Merseyside are often seen throughout the summer proudly wearing next season’s kit, and this year seems no different.

Liverpool’s kit provider, New Balance, have now revealed their latest creation for Jurgen Klopp’s men, and we are fairly impressed. Of course, it’s a red shirt, red shorts and red socks as always, but with some nice subtle differences.

For a start, it’s a deeper red, almost pushing the boundaries of the definition of the word ‘red’. The white v-neck collar and white trim on the sleeves are gone, and have been replaced by a button up collar and plain sleeves, with just the occasional flash of white piping.

The yellow club badge is now gone, with the famous liver bird design now fitting in with the rest of the detailing in white.

The shirt is available to purchase from May 11, and it is expected that the Reds will wear their new colours on the final game of the season at Anfield on May 13th against Brighton.

So without further ado, we suppose you would like to see it. Well here it is. Leave us your thoughts below.
