Liverpool have rejected a £25m bid from Crystal Palace for Mamadou Sakho.
The defender spent the second half of last season on loan at Selhurst Park after being exiled by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp last summer.
The £25m offer comprised of an initial payment of £22m, plus a further £3m in add one.
Liverpool are demanding £30m for the French defender, who is also attracting the attentions of Leicester and West Bromwich Albion.
West Brom’s interest could be increased should they agree a deal to sell Jonny Evans. The Northern Irishman is a target for Arsenal, Manchester City and Leicester, and could leave the Hawthorns for around £30m also.
