Liverpool will target West Ham playmaker Manuel Lanzini as a replacement for Philippe Coutinho according to reports.
Liverpool’s Brazilian playmaker looks increasingly likely to complete a move to the Nou Camp in January, with kit manufacturers Nike dropping a huge hint overnight that a deal is almost complete.
The deal to take Coutinho to Catalonia is likely to be in the region of £120m, and Liverpool are already looking at potential replacements.
According to the Sun, one of those potential targets is West Ham playmaker Manuel Lanzini.
Lanzini has been a key player for West Ham in his two years at the club. He moved to East London in a £9.4m move from Al Jazira after initially being on loan, but the report claims that West Ham see his current value at around £40m!
However, even after shelling out £75m on Virgil van Dijk, Liverpool will comfortably be able to afford a move for Lanzini thanks to the fee that Coutinho will command.
