Liverpool are edging closer to the signing of Mohammed Salah according to reports in Italy.
Corrierre dello Sport claim that Liverpool are close to agreeing a deal worth around €40million with AS Roma for the purchase of the winger. Reports in Egypt also suggest a similar deal of €40m + €5m in add ons has been submitted.
Rumours recently suggested that the deal to take Salah to Anfield had stalled, leaving Liverpool looking for alternatives.
However these developments suggest that the deal for the Egyptian is still on the cards and is edging towards its final conclusion.
It is believed that Salah has already agreed personal terms with Liverpool, with the Player set to receive around £90,000-a-week.
Salah moved to Roma last summer for around £13million from Chelsea having spent the previous season on loan in the Italian capital. He also spent the a season (2014/15) on loan at Fiorentina.
During his two seasons at Roma, he scored 34 goals in 83 appearances, a record which could see him making an immediate return to the Premier League.
