Liverpool duo Roberto Firmino and Ben Woodburn are set to be handed new contracts according to reports in Merseyside.
Firmino has spent just over two years at Anfield, scoring 27 goals in 101 outings for the Reds since his £29m move from Hoffenheim.
As for Woodburn, he only made his Liverpool debut in November last year, quickly showing why he was one of the academies brightest talents. The 17-year-old became the club’s youngest ever goalscorer when he netted in last seasons EFL Cup, and also scored his first international goal for Wales early on this season.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Jurgen Klopp is preparing to reward the pair with new contracts as he looks to keep the club’s best players and most promising talents long into the future.
Firmino is currently contracted until 2020, while Woodburn will sign improved terms once he turns 18 later this month.
