Myles Lewis-Skelly wants to remain at Arsenal and is focused on establishing himself as a regular first-team player despite interest from other clubs.
The 19-year-old has attracted attention during the transfer window, but The Athletic reports that Lewis-Skelly is happy at Arsenal and is not looking to leave the club.
Arsenal are also understood not to be actively offering the England international for sale, despite the increased competition for places following the arrival of Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle.
Lewis-Skelly has started regularly during pre-season and is determined to compete for his place rather than seek a move elsewhere. He signed a long-term contract with his boyhood club last summer.
The academy graduate joined Arsenal at the age of eight and broke into the senior side during the 2024-25 season. Initially deployed primarily at left-back, he increasingly established himself in central midfield last season.

His performances during Arsenal’s successful title run-in earned him a place in the starting XI for the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.
Lewis-Skelly has made 75 first-team appearances for Arsenal and has earned six England caps, although he was not selected for the 2026 World Cup squad.
Guimaraes’ arrival has increased competition in midfield, with Arsenal also possessing Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi, Martin Odegaard and Mikel Merino. However, Lewis-Skelly remains determined to fight for opportunities within the squad.
Arsenal are expected to make further changes before the transfer window closes, meaning their plans could still evolve. For now, though, Lewis-Skelly’s preference is clear: he wants to remain at Arsenal and compete for his place.
