Leicester City are the favourites to sign Manchester City Kelechi Iheanaco according to reports today.
The striker has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs, including West Ham and Everton, but it seems as though the former Champions are edging closer to his signature.
The 20-year-old only signed a new long term deal at Manchester City last summer, a deal which should have kept him at the club until 2021. However, the January arrival of Gabriel Jesus, who hit the ground running in the Premier League, has seen Iheanacho’s game time limited.
He is now believed to be in ‘advanced talks’ with the Foxes and is keen to make the switch.
He scored 21 goals in 64 appearances for Manchester City since he made his debut under Manuel Pellegrini in 2015.
As for Everton, they are interested in Wayne Rooney and Olivier Giroud, while West Ham are believed to be the favourites to sign Andre Gray from Burnley.
