Leicester City have agreed a club record deal to bring in CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa to the Premier League.

The club agreed the fee, believed to be in the region of £18million, with the Russia club yesterday and the striker will fly to England today to complete his medical and finalise terms.

Leicester tried to sign the striker back in January, but at the time were unable to agree a deal with the Russians for the sale of the Nigerian.

Musa’s manager Leonid Slutsky confirmed the move to Russian media yesterday, and back him to be a big hit in the Premier League:

He’ll be leaving on Tuesday.

If you look at the way things are done over there, you’ll see he is a player just made for English football.

The deal will be the second time in a week that the Premier League champions have smashed the club record, after signing Nampalys Mendy last week from Nice.
