Le Tissier gives his top four prediction

Premier League legend Matt Le Tissier has predicted the four teams who will qualify for next season’s Champions League.

We are only eight games into the 2018/19 Premier League campaign, but the table is starting to take shape already, with Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool all locked together at the top on 20 points after they have all made unbeaten starts to the season.

Arsenal currently sit in fourth after they bounced back from losing their opening two league games by winning six on the spin, as Unai Emery tries to restore the Gunners back to their former glories.

However, former Southampton ace Matt Le Tissier thinks that Arsenal will eventually miss out on the top four, with their North London rivals Spurs taking their spot ahead of Manchester United, who have had a disastrous start to the season.

“I think I will go with Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs for the top four as long as Christian Eriksen doesn’t spend too long out of the team, because I think Tottenham miss him quite a bit,” Le Tissier told Sky Sports.

“Manchester United have got some ground to make up if they are going to be in contention.”
