Lazio lower asking price for Milinkovic-Savic

Lazio have lowered their asking price for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic according to reports in Italy.

The Serbian has attracted attention from a number of top European clubs this summer, with Manchester United and Juventus thought to have been battling it out for his signature.

Real Madrid and PSG have since been linked, with Chelsea being the latest to show an interest in the 23-year-old.

Juventus have seemingly dropped out of the running to sign the Lazio midfielder after they splashed out a club record fee to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, while Manchester United’s need to sign a new midfielder has been lessened after to Marouane Fellaini performed a surprising U-turn to sign a new deal at Old Trafford.

However, despite all the interest in their star player, Lazio are yet to receive an offer, and although a a number of clubs have been in touch, nobody has been prepared to meet their €150m valuation.

According to Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A side have now revised their asking price, and would now accept a bid between €110 and €120m.

Lazio have highlighted Barcelona’s Rafinha as a replacement for Milinkovic-Savic, should he leave this summer.
