For the last few days we have brought you news of Manchester City’s interest in Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci, and today we bring you the very latest news on this potential transfer.
Manchester City had a £38million bid for the defender rejected earlier this week, but haven’t given up hope of signing the Juventus defender.
Sky Sports News claim that Manchester City have made a £43million (€50m) bid for the 29-year old, however this is in contrast with reports in Italy that say City have in fact made a bid of £51million (€60m), just as we told you yesterday.
It is also claimed in Gazzetta dello Sport that Bonucci’s agent has already travelled to Manchester in an attempt to secure a deal for his client.
Bonucci was a starring figure in Italy’s run to the Euro 2016 quarter finals, where they were eliminated by Germany.
