Sadio Mane has been in superb form for Liverpool lately, and the club look set to offer him a bumper new contract to fend off interest from other club’s.
Speaking ahead of his sides Premier League clash against West Ham tomorrow at Anfield, Red’s boss Jurgen Klopp admitted it is no secret that the club are trying to tie the talented winger down to a long-term deal.
“There’s nothing to do about that,”
“That we want to keep the players together is not a secret.
“We want to keep Sadio here – keep this team and strengthen it. It’s completely normal.” The German coach said.
Mane has proven himself to be one of the Premier League’s deadliest attackers since joining Liverpool from Southampton for £35 million in the summer of 2015.
The Senegal international has found the net 19 times and provided 10 assists so far in his Anfield career. This season the 25-year-old has formed part of a deadly forward trio with fellow attackers Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah.
