Loris Karius was again dominating the headlines last night after the goalkeeper made yet another howler for Liverpool in his sides 3-2 friendly victory over Tranmere Rovers.
The 25-year-old German made two horrific errors during the Reds 3-1 Champions League defeat to Real Madrid last May, leading to speculation that he would be replaced as the Anfield outfits number one pick between the sticks this summer.

However, Jurgen Klopp has since blamed his errors in Kiev on a concussion Karius picked up during a clash with Real captain Sergio Ramos and even after his latest mistake the Liverpool manager again seemed reluctant to point the finger the ‘keeper he signed from Bundesliga side Mainz in the summer of 2016:
“Nobody likes that goal, but if we talk about the second goal – I think it was Millie’s fault together with Chirivella,” Klopp said in his post match press conference.
“Two brilliant footballers make this mistake, which one was bigger? I would say the mistake of the two boys, but we don’t talk about it.
“Loris concedes that goal, but we cannot start a story always after each mistake.
“Mistakes will happen; I don’t like it, he doesn’t like it, but it will happen, so let’s carry on and make the best of all these situations by learning from them.
“That’s how it is.”
