Jurgen Klopp has promised that his Liverpool team will fight with every fibre of their bodies in the Premier League title race.
Liverpool play Bournemouth at Anfield on Saturday afternoon knowing that a win will put them back three points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table.
“We will be ready with each fibre of our bodies to fight for everything,” Klopp said at his pre-match press conference.
”At the end of the season, I just want to be able to say we gave everything. You can’t have 62pts without doing really good and we have the chance to get a few more.”
Liverpool have only taken eight points from the last 15 available to them in the league. Klopp knows that a return to their form of the first half of the season is what will be required for The Reds to end their 29-year wait for a league title.
February is set to be a huge month in Liverpool’s season with fixtures against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, as well as trips to Manchester United and Everton in the Premier League.
