Jurgen Klopp believes his Liverpool charges are in for another tough challenge when they return to North London this weekend.
Last season, the two sides played out an entertaining 3-3 draw at the same venue and Klopp knows that his side will have to up their game to get the win against Unai Emery’s in-form team.
“It’s always been a big challenge for us,” he said at his pre-match press conference.
“They are really strong. It will be a very interesting game for sure. We need to be ready for that.
“They score a lot of goals and they are really good defensively. We have to make sure they don’t score. You need the full package in games like this.”
“They played in an impressive way, they won all of them except for Crystal Palace which they could have won but how they played two or three months ago isn’t important, they are a threat for everybody.”
Arsenal were held to a 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace last Sunday, bringing an end to their 11-game winning streak. However, Saturday’s fixture with Liverpool will be their first meeting with a side from the ‘big six’ since their opening two games, against Manchester City and Chelsea, which both ended in defeat for The Gunners.
