If there is one thing that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp loves more than hugs and hearty laughs it’s describing things as “cool.”
The latest recipient of praise via the big German’s favourite verb is the Reds £67 million goalkeeper Alisson.
The Brazil international has looked impressive during his sides opening two games, with his handling and distribution particularity catching the eye.
Speaking to the press ahead of his sides Premier League fixture against Brighton tomorrow at Anfield, Klopp spoke highly of his new ‘keeper:
“From the first second he felt really familiar and that’s the truth.” Klopp told reporters.
“A good player, and good goalkeeper but a good player. For a goalkeeper that is cool. He gives us more opportunities. I like that.
“We have this Brazilian group plus Spanish with Alberto [Moreno] so that helps them even though Alisson and Fabinho’s English is quite good. I’m very happy so far and hopefully it stays like this.”
