Aitor Karanka has warned his players that their fixture against Hull City will be a tough task, despite their league position.
Hull are languishing down in 22nd in the table under Nigel Adkins, with just four wins in 17 fixtures.
However, Karanka has insisted that there is a tough test ahead for his players and has warned for them not to get complacent due to league standings.
“It will be really tough,” he told his pre-match press conference.
“I think it will be a similar game to what we had against them last season in the cup and in the league. We can’t be fooled by the table; they have very good players and if you look at their team player by player, they have a very good team.
“I think their position in the table is not a reflection of how good they are. They should be in a better position and they are improving. Their last three results have been very good so it is a tough, tough game.”
Forest are in the playoff picture at the moment, and Karanka knows his players will have to be at their best to keep pace with the league’s chasing pack.
He will be hoping his players can secure all three points when his side travel to Hull on Saturday for a 3pm kick off.
