Chelsea star warns Man City that title race is not over

Chelsea star N’Golo Kante has warned Manchester City that the Premier League title race is far from over, in an interview featured in The Daily Star.

Last season’s Player Of The Year, believes that although Pep Guardiola’s side are way out in front at the moment, there will be plenty of twists and turns as the season progresses.

“The big teams are up there,”

“Manchester City are well ahead, but the other teams are battling. The league is long and a lot can happen.”

“We have to take it match by match, and we have to be ready to win because it’s not finished.”

Kante, who just returned from injury recently has been at his dynamic best for The Blues, as they have begun to hit top form again, winning seven of their last eight league fixtures, after a sluggish start to the campaign.

The Stamford Bridge club, obviously don’t want to give up their Premier League title without a fight, but as they now sit 11 points behind leaders City they cannot afford any more slip ups.

If The Blues don’t retain their title, it will be the first time Kante has completed a season in England without winning the league, having won it with both Leicester and Chelsea, since arriving on these shores from Caen in 2015.
