Juventus target former Manchester United man as Arsenal reject Alexis approach

Juventus are looking at former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez after Arsenal rejected an approach for Alexis Sanchez

For weeks, Football Faithful have brought you news of Juventus’ interest in the Chilean winger, and now we can tell you that The Old Lady’s move has been rejected by Arsenal, who are desperate to keep their star man at the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger has desperately tried to tie the 27-year old down to a new long term contract, but so far has been unsuccessful in his attempts, leaving him with just two years remaining on his deal with the Gunners.

If Juventus continue to be unsuccessful in their pursuit, they are ready to switch their attention to Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez. Hernandez left Old Trafford last summer after falling out of favour with Louis van Gaal, but went on to become an instant hit in the Bundesliga, scoring 26 goals in 40 appearances for the German club.
