It’s finally here, the day the English tranfer window slams shut and with Jose Mourinho’s press conference gis etting underway shortly.
MUTV has released an exclusive interview with the Portuguese giving a selection update ahead of the Leceister City game.
Mourinho told MUTV: “No miracles. The players with a proper pre-season are fit and they are strong. For example, Alexis Sanchez had a good pre-season with lots of matches and lots of minutes. He’s more than ready but you cannot have the players who arrived only last Monday after the World Cup semi-finals or final and three weeks’ holiday. You cannot expect them to be fit.
Judging by Mourinho’s words it seems as if Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Romelu Lukaku and Jesse Lingard are out of contention for the squad to face Leceister City as well as Nemanja Matic who faces some time in the sidelines with an injury.
