Jorginho could complete his move to Manchester City at any minute, according to his agent.
The Napoli midfielder has been linked with a whole host of Premier League clubs in recent months, with the majority of the top six thought to have had varying degrees of interest in his services.
Manchester United and Liverpool were heavily linked with the Italy international a few months ago, but Jose Mourinho has already signed Fred, while Jurgen Klopp has brought in Naby Keita and Fabinho into the heart of their respective midfield’s.
Man City are now the clear favourites to land his signature, and are thought to have already agreed personal terms, although are yet to come to an agreement with the Serie A club.
However, Jorginho’s agent has suggested that a deal could be close:
“Manchester City are working to close the deal with Napoli – any moment could be the right one,” Joao Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss. “The player is in Brazil.
“I’m in my house in England, waiting for a call from [sporting director Cristiano] Giuntoli or [owner Aurelio] De Laurentiis. When it arrives, I will go to meet the leadership of Manchester City.”
