Hart was widely criticised during England’s Euro 2016 campaign, specifically for blunders against Wales and Iceland, the latter of which directly contributed to his countries exit from the tournament.

However, the England goalkeepers summer could be about to get worse as it is being reported that Pep Guardiola has agreed a £20million deal for Barcelona stopper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.

During Barcelona’s La Liga fixtures, the German plays second fiddle to Claudio Bravo at the Nou Camp, who has interestingly also been linked with a move to Manchester City this summer. However in a strange system operated by Luis Enrique, Ter Stegen is chosen for the clubs Champions League and Copa deal Rey fixtures.

According to the Mail on Sunday, the deal has been agreed in principle, but could be slowed by Barcelona as they look to bring former Liverpool ‘keeper Pepe Reina to thr Nou Camp from Napoli.
