Brentford are preparing for the imminent departure of Ivan Toney as they have reportedly lined up a replacement in the summer transfer window.
The England striker has been heavily linked with a move away from the Gtech Community Stadium as he enters the final year of his contract with the club.
Arsenal and Chelsea are said to be interested in signing the 27-year-old, who is valued at £80 million by the Bees.
Manager Thomas Frank has even admitted that Toney will “most likely be sold in the summer”, but Brentford should receive a hefty transfer fee that they can use to replace him.
The west London outfit could spend some of that money on Josh Sargent, as Football.London report that they are ‘eyeing up’ a move for the Norwich forward.
The American international has scored 24 goals in the Championship since the beginning of last season, and he scored twice in 26 Premier League appearances in the 2021/22 campaign.
