Inter Milan will sell striker Mauro Icardi this summer according to the players agent.
The Italian club are being forced to cash in on the striker due to their financial situation.
Icardi’s wife and agent, Wanda Nara told Calciomercato.com:
From what I’ve noticed, Inter are selling Icardi.
There are many clubs interested, we will assess the situation with the utmost respect for everyone.
Mauro is very sorry to leave Inter, but we do understand the economic situation at the club and that they can’t afford to keep hold of him.
There is no release clause in his contract and we hope Inter won’t ask for a sum that is outside the market value, but rather suited to his contract.
However, in contrasting reports, La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Icardi has met with the clubs directors to clear the air and distance himself from his wife’s comments.
