Stoke City’s summer spending isn’t yet finished according to manager Mark Hughes.
The Welshman has already completed the signing of his Welsh compatriot Joe Allen as well as the addition of Egyptian starlet Ramadan Sobhi, but he still wants more.
There are a couple of areas of the team that we feel we need to bring players in to help the rest of the guys. It is nobody specific at the moment because we have a number of targets in mind who we are hopeful of getting over the line.
He also admitted that he is still interested in signing West Bromwich Albion striker, Saido Berahino.
We’ve made bids and we are where we are. They have had a change of ownership but we haven’t moved forward since then. They are looking to improve their group as well if they can. We just have to be patient.
It is believed that WBA are willing to sell the striker, providing they can sign a replacement before hand.
