Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has said that he is not looking to cash in on in-form striker Callum Wilson, who is attracting attention from Chelsea.
Wilson has scored six goals and provided four assists for the Cherries this season, form which propelled him into Gareth Southgate’s latest England squad.
His goalscoring form has also seen him linked with a move to Premier League high-flyers Chelsea, but Eddie Howe has said that he isn’t looking to see his side broken up as he looks to build upon their impressive start to the season.
“From my position, sitting here as the manager, I’m looking to build a team,” Howe told the Daily Echo.
“I still feel we are a relatively new team with this group of players and the signings we made in the summer.
“I’m really pleased with how the squad is set up and the structure of it and I don’t want to break that.”
