Liverpool striker Danny Ings is being chased by up to six Premier League clubs who all want to sign him in January, according to reports in The Guardian.

Crystal Palace, Stoke, Brighton, West Brom, Newcastle and West Ham are all said to be inserted in the talented attacker who has one cap for England.

Ings joined Liverpool in 2015 after impressing with Burnley, but has had a torrid time with injury since his arrival at Anfield. In the space of two years the 25-year-old injured both the anterior cruciate ligament and cartilage in his knee.

These injuries have meant that the striker has not started a first-team game for Liverpool since October 2015, although his impressive form for his club’s U23 side recently, has not gone unnoticed by other Premier League managers.

Jurgen Klopp is said to rate Ings highly, and would favour a loan deal rather than a permanent move.

With all the clubs we mentioned above struggling for goals to varying degrees, a short term deal in January would suit all parties.
