Gonzalo Higuain wants to help “great club” Chelsea, who are struggling for form in the Premier League this season.
The Argentine striker, who joined Chelsea on loan from Juventus in January, says he has been impressed by the South London club since his arrival, praising the facilities and squad.
“Before I came to Chelsea, I had the impression of a very good team, a great club, and of course you can see this is a very talented group of players,” Higuain told chelseafc.com.
“The training ground and all the facilities are at a great level – everything they have here is of the highest standard.”
Higuain, who opened his Chelsea account with a brace during the 5-0 win over Huddersfield Town, was in the starting line-up for the side’s 6-0 loss to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, but the centre-forward says he is up for the task of revitalising the Blues’ season.
“It’s a huge challenge to come and play in the Premier League and I’m going to give my all to help Chelsea.”
