Eden Hazard says that Chelsea have not given up hope of winning the Premier League title following their 2-1 win over Brighton on Sunday afternoon.
First-half goals from Pedro and Hazard were enough to secure all three points at the AmEx, and speaking after the game, goalscorer Hazard said that the West London club haven’t given up hope of winning the title.
“We want to be top of the league at the end of the season. We know Man City and Liverpool are good teams – we don’t want the gap to be big,” Hazard told BBC Sport.
Their result on the south coast, combined with Arsenal’s defeat to struggling Southampton, leaves the Blues in fourth position in the Premier League, three points ahead of the Gunners and two behind third-placed Spurs
