Hazard opens the door for Real Madrid move

Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard is stalling on signing a new contract at Stamford Bridge in the hope of securing a move to Real Madrid.

The Express report that the 26-year-old who has 2 years left on his current deal with the Premier League Champions, has been offered a mouth watering £300,000 per week, but has so far refused to commit to extending his stay with The Blues.

Hazard has been in sensational form for Chelsea this season and is playing some of the best football of his career since Antonio Conte started to use him in a more central role behind former Real striker Alvaro Morata. The talented attacker has netted eight goals and provided four assists in just 12 appearances so far this season.

Although the Belgium international is said to be happy with life in London, he would find it very difficult to turn down a move to the Bernabeu.

The Spanish sides manager Zinidine Zidane, has stated on several occasions that he is a huge fan of Hazard’s, and the feeling is clearly mutual with the Chelsea star also admitting that as a child Zizou was his idol.

Real President Florentino Perez is said to want to sign a Galactico this summer to revive the fortunes of his struggling side, and with Hazard aged 26, and about to enter his prime years, he could well be the perfect fit.
