Hazard: 'I will listen to Real Madrid offer'

Eden Hazard has sensationally declared that he will listen to any offers made by Real Madrid after the European Champions had been linked with having an interest in the playmaker.

Real Madrid have been linked with making a move for Chelsea’s star asset this summer, with a potential £100m deal reportedly on the cards.

Just days ago, Hazard suggested that he would like to stay at Stamford Bridge for a further two years, with rumours that he could sign a new £300,000-a-week contract. However the Belgian seems to have changed his tune, declaring he would listen to offers if areal Madrid made a move:

“Of course, I would consider it if Madrid made an offer.”

However the winger fell short of stating that he wants to leave Stamford Bridge, but highlighted his desire to win the Champions League.

“I am keen to win trophies. It would be great to win the Champions League. But Chelsea’s goal is to win the Champions League as well. Honestly, I do not know what will happen.

“I only know that I still have a contract with Chelsea for three seasons and that we just had an amazing 2016-17 campaign. We want to continue on this path and want to build on this in the Champions League.
“I am feeling very well at Chelsea. But you never know what will happen.

“I have not met with the board yet to discuss a new deal. I have two games with Belgium coming up first and I am off on my holiday after that. I want to think about football as little as possible.”

Chelsea missed out on Champions League football this season after finishing tenth in the Premier League in the 2015/16 season, but will be back amongst Europe’s elite following their comeback to win the English league title this season.
