Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard is hoping him and his teammates can put on a big performance next weekend when they welcome Jurgen Klopp’s high flying Liverpool side to Stamford Bridge for one of this seasons first top of the table clashes.
Maurizio’s Sarri’s side saw their 100% record in the league this season come to an end away to London rivals West Ham yesterday, although Chelsea talisman Hazard is optimistic that the Blues can become the first team this season to beat Liverpool in the Premier League next Saturday evening.
‘Next weekend we play Liverpool at home. I hope we can keep this momentum and keep winning games.’ Hazard told Chelsea’s official website.
‘Everyone can score goals and create chances, so that’s why we have been good. We need to keep playing like this and we have confidence at the moment to do so.
‘Liverpool is the kind of game where you want to shine, so we will I hope.’
Chelsea will travel to Anfield to face Liverpool on Wednesday night in the League Cup, although both Sarri and Klopp are expected to rest several of their first-choice players.
