Eden Hazard thinks that Chelsea are lucky to have N’Golo Kante as part of their team, but also wants to help him improve even further.
Kante has enjoyed a stellar rise to the top of World football since arriving in the Premier League in 2015, winning the English league title in his first two seasons, before helping France get their hands on the World Cup this summer.
He has regularly been deployed as a holding midfielder for both club and country, with his incredible energy levels and dynamism key to his game. However, the arrival of Jorginho in Chelsea‘s midfield this summer has seen Kante pushed further forward in order to accommodate the Italian, but despite not being renowned as a goalscorer, he has already opened his goalscoring account for the season.
With Kante set to be involved in Chelsea’s attack on a more regular basis this season, Eden Hazard has said that he wants to help improve the Frenchman’s finishing:
“We are lucky to have Kanté here on our team,” he told RMC Sport.
“He is intelligent off the field and on the field. We could see this in the first match. He had not played in that position yet but after twenty minutes, he scored.
“If he wants, I’m always there to show him even if I’m not a great finisher either but I think I’m a little better than him anyway.”
