Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has thrown his backing behind club manager Antonio Conte, despite the struggles faced by the Blues this season.

The West London club romped to Premier League glory last season, winning the title by an impressive seven points having lead for the vast majority of the campaign.

However, despite adding to their ranks in both the summer and January transfer windows, they have struggled to string a series of results together. They currently sit in fourth place in the League, and could only finish second in their Champions League group to sent up a last 16 tie with Barcelona.

Chelsea’s disappointing form has led to speculation that manager Antonio Conte could be on the brink of being sacked.

However, speaking to Telefoot, Hazard said he, and his team mates, were fully behind the Italian:

“We win together, we lose together.

“I don’t sense there’s any player who’s not with the coach.

“Everyone is behind him. All we want is to climb the table — and give everything against Barcelona.

“We will see what happens after.”

Hazard has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent days, but despite not refusing to rule out a move, he did insist that he and his family were happy in their current situation.
