Bayern Munich welcomed Harry Kane back from injury ahead of their Champions League tie with Arsenal.
The former Spurs striker suffered an ankle injury before the international break after colliding with the post during a Bundesliga match against Darmstadt.
Although Kane linked up with the England squad, he left the camp before the Brazil game on Tuesday when it became clear he was not fit enough to play.
The 30-year-old did return to action this weekend, though, starting against Borussia Dortmund at the Allianz Arena. Barring another injury, he will be fit to face Arsenal in the quarter-final tie at the Emirates on 9 April.
Kane was not able to inspire Bayern to victory, however. The German champions fell to a 2-0 home defeat following goals from Karim Adeyemi and Julian Ryerson.
England record goal scorer did manage to find the net late to give Bayern a flicker of hope, but it was ruled out after a VAR check showed he was offside.

It’s the first time Bayern have lost at home to Dortmund in a decade and seriously dents their hopes of retaining the Bundesliga title. They now find themselves 13 points off leaders Bayer Leverkusen with seven games to go.
