Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is expecting his side to face a huge test when they travel to Stamford Bridge tomorrow evening to face Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea side.
Guardiola’s imperious City side have carried their supreme form from last season into the current campaign, with the reigning Premier League Champions sitting on top of the table, having dropped just four points from their opening 15 top-flight games.
However, the former Barcelona boss is expecting a difficult encounter against Chelsea in West London tomorrow – especially since Sarri’s side will be looking to bounce back after losing two of their last three league fixtures.
“Tomorrow is another huge demanding test for us,” Guardiola told his pre-match press conference.
“How we play against one of the best teams on one of the biggest stages. How will they react after losing? I can imagine how intense, committed they will be.”
