Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud reckons the Blues new coach Maurizio Sarri is special.
The Stamford Bridge outfit have made a perfect start to the season, winning all five of their opening Premier League games and they currently sit joint top of the table with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
In recent weeks several Chelsea players have been praising the former Napoli coaches methods and World Cup winner Giroud has become the latest to wax lyrical about working under the 59-year-old Italian.
“He (Sarri) is special,” Giroud told Chelsea’s official website.
“He loves football. He is passionate. He doesn’t leave any surprises, he wants everything under control. That’s why we do so much tactical work. He looks at every single detail. He is very precise.”
