The future of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool target Thomas Lemar took another twist today with Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev claiming that the French side will not allow the talented winger to leave in January, report the The Daily Star.
Lemar has become one of Europe’s most sought after young talents after spectacularly rising to prominence during his sides superb run to the Champions League semi-final last season.
Liverpool and Arsenal both made bids for the 22-year-old left winger during the summer transfer window, and the pair are expected to rekindle their interest in January.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is also said to be a big fan, and is on the look out for attacking reinforcements in January.
Whether these comments from the Monaco vice-president are true, or are just part of a game being played to create a bidding war and drive up the price, only time will tell.
