Fulham travel to Anfield on Saturday still searching for their first Premier League point of the season, with Alvaro Arbeloa returning to the ground where he spent much of his playing career.
The Cottagers sit bottom of the table after defeats to Chelsea, Sunderland and Crystal Palace, conceding seven goals across the three matches. Arbeloa has defended his squad’s underlying performances, saying: “We create enough chances to win games… we know what we need to do to adjust.” He added that Liverpool are “improving” and “controlling the games better” after watching their midweek Champions League win over Atletico Madrid.

Arbeloa is expected to make little to no change after being pleased with his side’s application in the derby defeat, though Sander Berge could come in for Oscar Bobb if he opts for greater defensive solidity in midfield.
