Fulham host Hull City at Craven Cottage on Saturday afternoon, still searching for a first league win of the season after six games.
Alvaro Arbeloa’s side are bottom with two points, two behind safety, and have dropped points from winning positions in their last two games. Reports have suggested his future could depend on the next two matches, against Hull and Coventry City, and Arbeloa said he is focused on the game and that it is not about him. Fulham have won their last four meetings with Hull without conceding, including a 2-0 FA Cup win at the MKM Stadium in January 2023. Fulham would equal their worst start to a top-flight season, in 1951-52, by failing to win a seventh game.
Fulham team news
Hugo Larsson (groin) is a doubt, with Arbeloa saying he is not sure the midfielder will be available. Antonee Robinson is available after missing the defeat at Ipswich Town with a knee problem, and Arbeloa said every other player is fit. Captain Tom Cairney’s fitness continues to be monitored.
Ryan Sessegnon scored a long-range goal at Ipswich in Robinson’s absence and could keep the left-back spot, joining Calvin Bassey, David Affengruber and Kenny Tete in defence. Sander Berge and Shea Charles are the likeliest central midfield pair, with Emile Smith Rowe and Cesar Palacios among those hoping to force their way in. Josh King is set to play behind Gonzalo Garcia, who has gone five league games without a goal, with Alex Iwobi and Oscar Bobb on the wings.
Fulham predicted lineup
Fulham possible starting XI: Leno; Tete, Affengruber, Bassey, Sessegnon; Berge, Charles; Bobb, King, Iwobi; Garcia
