Fulham are leading a group of Premier League clubs interested in signing Fluminense midfielder Andre.
Andre is a transfer target for several Premier League clubs and has been watched by Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal this season, after impressing during Fluminense’s run to a first ever Copa Libertadores title.
The 22-year-old, who won the Bola de Ouro as the best player in the Campeonato Brasileiro in 2022, is expected to leave Fluminense in January as European clubs circle for the defensive midfielder.
The Standard are reporting that Fulham are heading the queue for his services, as the Cottagers look to bring in reinforcements in the winter window. Bayern Munich are expected to renew their interest in Joao Palhinha in January and Andre is the club’s top target to replace the Portugal international.
Andre, who made his Brazil debut earlier this year, is valued at around £30m at Fluminense and could form part of an active winter window at Craven Cottage.
Marco Silva’s side are also keen to sign a striker and have been credited with interest in Jonas Wind of Wolfsburg, who has scored eight goals in 10 Bundesliga appearances this season. Brentford have also been linked with the Denmark international.
