Four Premier League club’s are ready to battle for the services for Napoli midfielder Jorginho.
The Brazilian born, Italy international has attracted plenty of admirers following a string of impressive performances for the Serie A side.
It is claimed today that Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal have all recently sent scouts to watch the 26-year-old in action, while Liverpool have also been linked in recent weeks.
Speaking to The Sun, Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos said: “It’s normal for top European clubs to keep players of this type on their radars.
“We’re waiting for May. We hope Napoli can win the league. Then if Napoli wants to renew the contract, we can talk about it.
“The same if they want to sell Jorginho. There are no official and concrete proposals for him from UK.
“I don’t know if De Laurentiis will call me at the end of the season to extend his contract. I suppose that [he will].
“We are available to deal with [the club]. He has become Neapolitan and is in a family. He is a top level player.
“I follow the Premier League. I’m sure Jorginho has the characteristics to play there.
“He runs more than 13km every game and he has a great technique. I don’t have a figure in my mind, the price is set by the president.”
Man Utd are known to be in the market for a new central midfielder to replace Michael Carrick while Liverpool are looking to potentially replace Emre Can who is widely expected to move to Juventus on a free transfer. Champions elect Man City are also looking for a long term replacement for the ageing Fernandinho while Arsenal could be set to lose Jack Wilshere on a free after failing to agree a new deal at the Emirates.
