Forshaw expecting a ‘tough game’ against QPR

Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw is expecting a tough game this weekend, as The Whites host Queens Park Rangers at Elland Road.

The former Brentford midfielder has downplayed the idea that Leeds are firm favourites for the clash and has lavished praise on this weekend’s opponents.

The midfielder, who came through the Everton youth system, singled out former Stoke City man Geoff Cameron for praise.

“Some good loan signings. Good strikers in August. Geoff Cameron has done especially well. Good Championship side. Tough game.” Forshaw told Leeds Live.

Leeds sit behind Norwich City in the table, and will be looking at this weekend’s game to try and claw back some ground on the league leaders.

QPR have won and lost eight times in their 20 league outings so far this season. But, Forshaw, who has secured promotion previously whilst at Middlesbrough, knows that this fixture will be a tough test for Bielsa’s injury ravaged side.

The two sides face off at Elland Road tomorrow afternoon.
