Ex-West Ham winger Matt Jarvis believes the upcoming game against Liverpool is an opportunity for the club to get things back on track.
The Hammers lost 3-0 to Wolves midweek, their third successive defeat in all competitions, as their depreciating form continues to slide downhill.
Former West Ham attacker Jarvis says that the team have to grind out a result sooner rather than later, starting with Premier League leaders Liverpool on Monday night.
“Everyone in the dressing room is a professional and you’ve got to be looking at yourself and each other and thinking ‘What can I do to help us get out of this mess that we’re in?’”, Jarvis told whufc.com.
“West Ham have got a fantastic squad of players and they have definitely got the quality to end this run, which I am sure the likes of Mark Noble will make sure they do.

“Everyone goes through bad patches, so it’s about grinding a result out from somewhere and you can turn things around.”
Jarvis points to the example of Newcastle United, who defeated the reigning champions midweek, for inspiration.
“Look at Newcastle beating Manchester City in the week,” he added.
“There is no better way to end a run than against one of the big boys, because you always raise your game.
“West Ham are at home, so it’s a fantastic opportunity to go and get some points.”
