Nottingham Forest manager Aitor Karanka is confident despite his side’s tough test against Leeds United this weekend.
Forest enjoyed a 3-0 win over Bolton Wanderers in midweek, and whilst Karanka knows the quality Leeds possess, he is looking forward to the challenge.
“It is a challenge but I am confident, especially because we had a good reaction yesterday,” he said at his pre-match press conference.
“When we have played against teams at the top of the table, we have played really well, against West Brom, Middlesbrough or Swansea.
“When we play these teams, we have been doing well so I am confident and these are the kind of games you want to play.”
Leeds are the form team in the Championship and Marco Bielsa’s men sit in first place in the league.
However, Forest are just four points behind the league leaders in seventh.
Karanka will be hoping his charges can re-produce Wednesday’s performance against the league favourites this weekend, with the two sides facing off at 6:30pm tomorrow at Elland.
